Our Privacy Policy
The American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana respects and protects the privacy of our online visitors and donors. We will not share your personal information or e-mail address with third parties. The American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana does not share financial donor postal mailing lists with other non-profits.

Security Policy
We care about the safety and security of your credit card transaction. We use https security protocol, the industry standard for internet security, to communicate with your browser software. All website pages that request financial information are marked with the SiteSafe verification seal. If, for any reason, you are concerned about making a financial transaction online, please call (260) 484-9336 x207 to make a donation over the phone, or stop by during business hours to make a donation in person.

The same encryption and https security protocols used for financial transactions on our are site are used in collecting personally identifiable information when submitting an online volunteer application, making a store purchase inquiry, or signing up for a class online.

Do We Use "Cookies"?
Visitors should be aware that non-personal information and data may be automatically collected by the American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana website through the use of "cookies." The American Red Cross welcomes children to learn more about our organization and, where appropriate, find opportunities to serve their community through American Red Cross training, youth programs, and volunteer activities. However, we encourage this to be done only with their parents' knowledge and supervision. For the safety of your entire family, we will not share any personal information with third parties.

E-mail Communications
Website visitors who select the "subscribe to newsletter" option through our website will be added to our distribution list for Chapter Matters, a monthly e-newsletter for the general public. All active chapter volunteers are automatically be added to our distribution list for Volunteer News, a monthly volunteer e-newsletter. Occasionally, recipients may receive an additional e-blast for special events and promotions (less than once a month). We respect your wish to unsubscribe at any time. To opt-out from these communications, follow the "unsubscribe" links at the bottom of the e-newsletters. By clicking on the unsubscribe link, you will automatically be removed from our e-mail list for that particular newsletter. If you are a recipient of both newsletters, you must unsubscibe from them separately using the link at the bottom of each respective e-newsletter.
